Queenstown is known as the adventure capital of the world so the activities options are endless. From adrenaline pumping skydiving and bungy jumping to more relaxed winery tours, scenic flights and health spas. Our Snow Machine team can assist you with booking many of these activities.

How do I get from the airport to my accommodation?

Queenstown airport is a only 15 min drive from the city centre and there are many options to get there.

  • Return airport shuttles which can be pre-booked
  • Self drive with one of the many car hire companies located at the airport
  • Jump in a taxi or uber
Where can I ski/snowboard?

Queenstown is home to two world class ski resorts, The Remarkables and Coronet Peak. They are both well suited to all levels and abilities.

How do I get to the ski resorts?

There are transfers operating from town to the mountain regularly throughout the day. Our friendly snow Machine team will be able to book these for you at a later stage. Or for those who have hired a car you can drive yourself up the mountain each day, the resorts offer free parking.

How do I get around town?

Most accommodation is within walking distance to the town centre, however if your property is a little further out of town there are plenty of uber and taxis available.

Do I need a passport to travel to New Zealand

Yes, Queenstown is still an international country and you require a valid passport for travel. If you are not travelling on an Australian passport, make sure you have the correct visa.

What is included in the package?

All packages include 5 nights accommodation at your choice of lodging, 4 day lift passes for Coronet Peak and The Remarkables and entry to Snow Machine events.

Where can I purchase a package?

Packages will be available online from the 21st Jan until sold out.

Can I amend the packages to suit my needs?

The packages have been set as 5 nights/4 days and can not be shortened. However you will be able to extend the number of nights/days through the Snow Machine team at a later date.

What payment methods are accepted?

All major credit/debit cards will be accepted.

Can I book a package for someone else?

Yes, you can book for up to 7 of your friends online. You will need to make payment in one transaction and have your friends names and emails ready. If you have a group larger than 8 please send a request via the groups page.

Can I stay in the same dorm room as my friend?

To guarantee your booking in the same room, you will need to book your packages in the one transaction. If your friend decides to join at a later stage we will do our best to accommodate your request but we can not guarantee it.

When will I receive my confirmation and itinerary?

Your confirmation will be sent as soon as you make the booking. The itinerary and additional extras will be sent in the following weeks. We will be dealing with a large volume of guests so we ask for your patience.

Is breakfast included in the packages?

Breakfast is included in SOME packages, it will be clearly stated on the website. If it is not included it can be added for an additional cost at most properties.

How much deposit do I need to pay?

The first deposit is due on confirmation and will depend on the level of package you book, $200pp for value, $250pp for mid range and $300pp for deluxe. The second deposit of $300pp is due 31st March and final balance due 30th June.

Are the packages refundable?

The packages are not refundable for change of mind/injury or illness however if the event is cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions we will offer a credit or refund. We recommend you take out travel insurance at the time of booking to cover you for injury/illness/death in the family scenarios.

Can I book a twin room for one person?

Not unless you want to pay twice the price. We have allocated certain properties with single packages allowing you your own room and package for one.

Can I transfer the package to someone else's name?

Yes, if you can no longer attend you are welcome to transfer your package to someone else. Any deposits made will be transferred to the new person so you will have to sort finances yourselves. You will need to advise the Snow Machine team in writing and change the name on the ticket.

Do I need travel insurance?

We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance, not only will it cover you for cancellations before you travel, it will cover you for accident and illness while in New Zealand. We will have more information on travel insurance in the coming weeks.

Ticket only options have not been finalised as yet. These will be available soon but will be sold on a first in first served basis. There will most likely be limited supply due to capacity numbers. Best to follow our Facebook page for the announcement

Where do I get my festival wrist band?

You will exchange your electronic ticket for a festival wrist band when you arrive in Queenstown, we will provide more information closer to the date.

Is there parking available at the festival?

There is free parking available at Coronet Peak and The Remarkables however parking at the main stage is very limited, we recommend walking to this event.

Can I bring my own alcohol to the event?

No, all venues are fully licensed so you are not permitted to bring your own alcohol to the event. Bag searches will be conducted before entering the event.

Will there be first aid onsite?

Yes, there will be first aid on hand at all events.

When will set times be released?

The timetable will be released in the week leading up to the event.

Can I buy a ticket for only one day of the festival?

No, the tickets are valid for 4 days and will not be sold for individual days.

You can request a new electronic ticket by clicking on the link in your confirmation email. If you loose your wrist band whilst at the event we will request proof of purchase before providing a new one.
