New Zealand duo SACHI are made up of child hood friends Nick Chrisp and Will Thomas, starting in indie punk bands before discovering electronic and hip-hop in their later teens. Debuting in the early 2010’s with their electronic sounds, they have opened for big names like Rudimental.  Once they created SACHI, they began recording early demos and sending to high profile artists.  However it was after throwing a USB of their music through the car window at Diplo that finally gave them their break with  Diplo playing one of their tracks on BBC radio. They gained exposure and soon released Your EP (2014) and Lunch with Bianca (2016), which included South Central, followed by a number of singles.
